- 1st Thursdays! The Key West Art Bar is the corner spot in the exciting new, Art & Design District & they’ve decided to join forces with the Seaport Shops, to present the 1st Thursday, “Night at the Bight”! This Art Walk & area Open House is the 1st Thursday of every month from 6-9PM (maybe, even later, at the Art Bar!). It includes about dozens of shops, galleries, boutiques, design houses, restaurants & bars. In addition to drinkies, fabulous fine art & jewels, the Key West Art Bar offers a fresh & exciting, ‘creative twist’ for each art walk. So, join us for music, trunk shows, films, performers… the Art Bar is the Happening Space!
- The last Saturday of EVERY MONTH, we will show a FULL AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION version of the ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Show starts at sundown & seats fill QUICKLY. So, get there early! It’s $10 for your prop bag, costumes are encouraged, but not mandatory… We’re silly enough for everyone, but it’s really more fun if you’re in drag!
FILM SCHEDULE:
Films at the Art Bar in the Secret Spot Lounge are on hold for now, while we wait for cooler weather & toward putting together a film slam of local talent. STAY TUNED. Our films are typically very casual. It’s a lounge setting, with drinking, chatting & a free pool table. It’s kinda like watching movies at your friend’s house, if it was super-cool, with a full-sized film screen & a bar. We show an unusual variety of campy, cult classics, art films, & at times, poignant social commentary. Because of the unusual nature & sources of our films, any proposed schedule is subject to change. So, call ahead 305-296-0424. They are usually free & typically start at 8pm or dark, whichever comes first. Come early to avoid the rush!
